As is true with most other success stories, Number 9’s Toronto Recording Studios secret is adaptability. While we remain on the forefront of recording studio technology with our full-scale ProTools HD3 system, we also host an extensive assortment of vintage analogue gear.

Here is the Music Player. You need to installl flash player to show this cool thing!

Classic equipment such as Lexicon’s legendary 480L are used in tandem with brand-new ProTools plugins. By maintaining a wide array of the best tools for any given project, you are assured to receive what you need to get the job done right the first time through.

Recording Studio Spaces | Toronto

Our newly renovated space in an old Victorian house has allowed us greater freedom than ever before in providing exceptional service. Our recording studio houses two live floors, one general purpose and the other custom-built for a beautiful C. Bechstein D280 9′ Concert Grand piano. If all you need is a quick edit and don’t require a full-scale studio, our production studio fits the bill without running it up.

Need CDs made? We also offer duplication services for CD, ECD, DVD, and HDVD.

We’ve been immersed in the massive changes to the recording and music industries over the past decade and have been able to remain steadfast by maintaining consistent quality without over-indulgence. Our recognizing that minor budgets shouldn’t mean minor recordings allow our clients the luxury of studio-quality productions without the need for big corporate support.

Recording Studio Engineers | Toronto

Despite all the great equipment, the real secret to a great recording studio are great engineers. Head Engineer/Instructor Bernie Cisternas excels in all things audio and guides recording sessions in a friendly and professional attitude. With over 10 years experience spanning from Toronto Canada to the Caribbean, Bernie’s exposure to variety of styles has given him the capacity and credibility to pro-actively engage in any project – and he has a Juno to prove it. Other engineers common to our Toronto recording studio are Jason Steidman (previously head engineer with Lydian Sound). Each engineer will bring his own personal touch to any session, but all are completely qualified for whatever you need.
