Biography
Juno Award winning recording artist Jake Langley has won 2 National Jazz Awards, and is an internationally renowned and in demand jazz guitarist. He has recorded with Doug RIley, David Clayton Thomas, Joey Defrancesco, James Moody, George Coleman, Dr. Lonnie Smith, George Coleman, Holy Cole, Willie Nelson, Rufus Wainright, Sara Slean, Rich Underhill, Dionne Taylor, The Tone Poets, Jackie Richardson, Cindy Black and many other jazz and pop artists.
Jake has produced recordings for Jazz legends Sheila Jordon, Roy Hargrove, Roberta Gambarini, Oliver Jones, Mike Murley, Don Thompson, Jane Bunnett, Marc Jordan, Jazz FM 91, Russell Malone, Joey Defrancesco, Big Rude Jake, Peter Appleyard, Liberty Silver, Doug Riley, The Tones Poets, Laila Biali, Shawn Nykwist, Saraphin, and others. His original music has been heard on radio and television worldwide and has was the musical director for the 2005 National Jazz Awards.
