Meatless Music 4 Mondays
Our good friend David Alter recently contacted us with a new contest from Vigour Projects – one that may appeal to all the songwriters and musicians out there!
Submit your original music and lyrics to Vigour Projects for a chance to win Best Original Music and Lyrics! The song must contain lyrics that promote a heart-healthy lifestyle and behaviours. The song can be any genre. Whether it is funny, serious, or heartfelt, the only rule is that you must be creative! Note that it does NOT have to be radio quality. Each song submission costs $5, the majority of which will be donated to the Heart and Stroke Foundation and the remainder will cover the costs of the judging panel.
The grand prize for the competition is a pair of free Paul McCartney tickets to his August 8th or 9th concert as well as free studio time at Number 9 Audio Group.
In addition to the contest, there will be a big public launch event for Meatless Music 4 Mondays in partnership with the Heart and Stroke Foundation on Monday, August 9th, 2010. Check out the official website later on for more details!
